I purchased this product through a friend who'd recommended it, at the time I was living in the UK and found it totally impossible to buy a decent laptop with XP (many manufacturers don't even offer XP as an option & one salesman at a leading PC shop in Bath Somerset even went as far as saying that my insistence they install XP in preference to Vista would void their warranty???)
This was initially purchased as a back up to my existing Latitude D531, however I've been so impressed by this particular unit that I'm now using it in preference to the other.
Can't speak highly enough about it and after all it is a DELL - Magic !!!

This is a great product with plenty of punch for the return to school requirements at more then half the price of a new laptop. The 30 day warranty seems to be in order. Get the education rebate from the ATO.
